FAQ's
First time intimate wax – what should I expect?
If you’re feeling nervous, that’s completely normal —most of my clients felt exactly the same before their first appointment.
When you arrive, we’ll have a gentle chat first. I’ll ask about your skin, sensitivity, and any concerns so I can tailor everything to you. You’ll be given privacy to get ready, and I’ll guide you step by step so you always feel comfortable.
I use high-quality wax suitable for sensitive areas and work in small sections to minimise discomfort. I’ll also show you breathing techniques and positioning to make it easier.
The truth is it’s quick, and with regular waxing it becomes much more comfortable over time, with finer regrowth and less irritation.
After your treatment, I’ll guide you through simple aftercare (like avoiding heat, tight clothing, and exfoliating gently after a few days).
This is a safe, respectful space no judgement, just care.

First time spray tan – how does it work?
A spray tan is one of the easiest ways to feel instantly more confident especially if you don’t have time for sun or holidays.
Before your appointment, I’ll guide you to exfoliate your skin and avoid moisturiser, deodorant, or perfume on the day.
At your appointment:
-
You can wear disposable underwear or your own
-
I’ll guide you through simple positions (nothing awkward)
-
The application takes around 15 minutes
I’ll customise the shade so it suits your skin tone whether you want a subtle glow or a deeper bronze.
After your tan:
-
Leave it to develop for the recommended time
-
Avoid water during this period
-
Moisturise daily after rinsing to extend the life of your tan
You’ll notice an instant glow, but the real magic happens the next day.

What is a lymphatic drainage massage?
This is one of the most underrated treatments and once you try it, you’ll understand why.
Your lymphatic system is responsible for removing toxins and excess fluid from your body, but sometimes it becomes sluggish (especially with stress, hormonal changes, or long periods of sitting).
This massage uses slow, rhythmic movements to:
-
reduce water retention and puffiness
-
support detoxification
-
improve circulation
-
boost your immune system
-
calm your nervous system
It’s not a deep tissue massage it’s gentle, almost meditative.
Clients often say they feel lighter, less bloated, and deeply relaxed like their body has had a reset.

What is a hormonal balance facial?
This facial is designed with real women in mind — especially if your skin feels different due to stress, perimenopause, menopause, or hormonal shifts.
We focus on:
-
calming inflammation
-
restoring hydration
-
supporting collagen
-
strengthening the skin barrier
But it’s not just about products it’s about how you feel.
The treatment includes relaxing massage techniques that help regulate your nervous system, reduce tension, and bring your body back into balance.
It’s a space to pause, breathe, and feel cared for inside and out.

What are Calgel nails?
Calgel is perfect if you want beautiful nails without damaging your natural nail.
Unlike traditional hard gels, Calgel is flexible, which means
-
it’s less likely to lift or break
-
it feels lighter and more comfortable
It’s ideal if you’re trying to grow your natural nails or want a clean, polished look that last

What is a Footlogix pedicure?
This is not just a “pamper pedicure” it’s a treatment that actually improves the health of your feet.
Using Footlogix medical-grade products, we treat:
-
cracked heels
-
dry or sensitive skin
-
hard skin and calluses
The products are lightweight and absorb into the skin rather than sitting on top, which means the results last longer.
The treatment is finished with nourishing care and a relaxing touch so you leave feeling both cared for and pampered.
Especially beneficial if you’re always on your feet

WHAT IS A JAPANESE HEAD SPA?
A Japanese Head Spa is a luxurious, deeply relaxing scalp ritual that combines hair wash ,hair mask ,steam ,face lymphatic drainage massage specially designed method massage cleansing techniques, aromatherapy and gentle water flow to support both the scalp and overall wellbeing.
But in this space… it’s more than that.
This isn’t just about improving your hair although it absolutely does.
It’s about creating a full sensory experience that allows your body to slow down, your mind to quieten, and your nervous system to reset.

WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?
This ritual brings together a combination of:
Hair wash and hair follicles stimulation
• deep yet gentle scalp massage to release tension
• cleansing techniques to remove build-up and support scalp health
Mask and steam
• warm water flow to soothe and calm the body
• aromatherapy to enhance relaxation
• carefully selected tools to support circulation and flow
• facial lymphatic drainage to reduce puffiness, boost circulation and enhance the overall results
After the ritual, your hair is gently dried so you leave feeling refreshed, not rushed.
You’re then invited to take a moment with a warm herbal tea allowing your body to slowly come back, while holding onto that sense of calm.

WHY IS IT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER TREATMENTS?
At the heart of this ritual is the Marlene Method — a refined approach that brings together technique, presence, and sensory experience.
Rather than focusing only on the hair, this method works with the body as a whole, using rhythm, touch, and stillness to calm the nervous system.
It’s this level of intention that transforms the experience from a treatment into a ritual.
It’s not rushed, it’s not mechanical…
it’s designed as a full experience.
Combined with the atmosphere, the tools, the products and my specialised training in the Marlene Method, this becomes something far more than a standard head spa.
WHAT WILL YOU NOTICE?
You may come in thinking about your hair…
But you’ll leave noticing how you feel.
More relaxed.
More grounded.
Clearer in your mind.
And yes with healthier, softer, more nourished hair too.
CAN I HAVE THIS RITUAL IF I HAVE HAIR EXTENSIONS?
Yes , but with care.
If you have hair extensions, the ritual can still be adapted to suit you. However, certain steps will be adjusted to protect the bonds and tapes
The focus will remain on relaxation and scalp care, while avoiding excessive tension or movement around the attachment areas.
This means:
• gentler, more mindful techniques around the roots
• avoiding direct manipulation of bonds or tapes
• adapting the flow of the ritual to keep your extensions safe
You’ll still experience the calming, grounding benefits of the ritual just in a way that supports the longevity of your extensions.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
Please let me know in advance if you have extensions, so I can tailor the experience specifically for you.
Your comfort, your hair health, and the quality of the result always come first.
This way, you can relax fully… knowing everything is taken care of

How often should I come for treatments?
Consistency is where the real results happen.
-
Facials: every 4–6 weeks
-
Lymphatic massage: weekly or bi-weekly for best results
-
Waxing: every 4–6 weeks
-
Spray tan: every 7–10 days (or for special occasions)
Think of this as maintenance for your body and mind not just a one-off treat.
